Hair Trends to try this Autumn/Winter 2021
The AW21 Fashion Shows continued the summer trend and current necessity for low key style in both clothing and hair. Summing the general vibe up well Victoria Beckham explained her collections ethos.
“This time that we’re in has definitely changed our attitudes when it comes to hair and beauty. We’ve taken positives from that and used an element of that thinking to inform the hair look. It’s a little bit more relaxed. There’s a sense of ease and wearability. It’s worn, but it’s still done."

THE SHAG
This 70’s icon look has a grown-out look. Iconic stylist Paulo Guido shows off the shag cut, with the slicked back wet look at Prada.
French designer Isabel Murant collection here combines the trend for natural curls with the shag too for a more everyday version to try.
David Koma London had a similar look.
LOBS & BOBS
Making hair more manageable with shorter lengths was Victoria Beckham.
More bobs were spotted at Courreges as well as Staud with messy looks, and Etro going for a sleek finish. Don’t forget our shorter lengths with 10" Micro Tapes and 12" lengths across the Elegance range to help fill out sides and create shape to your styles.
KEEPING IT LOW
Styling wise the pony and bun were low. Erdem kept it simple with a little wave to the ends of the hair and added a hair band or cap to all the models.
Try our 24" Ponytail to recreate this look. Stylist Cos Sakkas of Toni & Guy crafted perfect chignons for Paul Costelloe.
MICRO PLAITS
Face framing has been trending with colour work all summer long, but now we see this effect through styling with micro braids doing all the work as Baum und Pferdgarten shared.
ACCESSORIES
Always on a trends list because who can resist a little bling? The hair bow with the longest lengths, was repeated throughout Chanel’s models apart from a delicate pearl hair band.
Giambattista Valli had more hair bands.
Check out Erdem above for their statement hair pieces and bands too. Scarves not only help keep stray hairs in place but can hide a bad hair day. Heads up Versace here:
