Top Six Festive Selling Tips

December is always so busy and without an appointment spare, we have 6 tips to help increase your sales and attract new clients for the new year.

TIP 1

With the Christmas Elves sprinkling their magic with creative Christmas salon décor, always keep your retail area tidy, especially at eye level and have those price points visible. Promote Gift Sets and stocking fillers to interest every budget and keep changing things around so your clients are seeing a mix of the products on offer. You can also promote these across your social channels to help drive sales.

From magical window displays, enchanting receptions and spruced up workstations, these are always a go-to technique for attracting new clients too.

TIP  2

For those who missed getting an appointment with you this season, make sure they have the Clip-in range on their list for Santa. Don't forget Our 24” Ponytail which is perfect for parties.

A tip from us is to share your colour matching service on your social accounts. Also encourage people to shop local and come into the salon to pick up as this will really help to drive your business and attract new clients for the new year.

TIP 3

An important tip is to give yourself some "me time". Don’t forget to book yourself some time out to avoid burnout and enjoy this magical time of year. We all know just how busy it can be! Taking care of yourself first will help you give the best service.  

TIP 4

Promote Gift Vouchers as the perfect Christmas gift, for those who know exactly what they are looking for in the New Year. Just like with Tip 2, get these advertised on your on social media account to spread the word.

Tip 5

Why not run a late-night shopping event to showcase all of those last-minute gift ideas for stocking fillers? This also a great way to say thank you to all your clients for supporting you over a glass of fizz. Try working with a similar business, such as beauty salons or fashion shops, to help share the cost and help introduce new people to your salon. 

Tip 6

Use your social media to regularly highlight different products, the benefits, price point and if you have limited stock, that fear of missing out can help speed up the sale! Link to your online shop or add your location for people to collect. Involve your team to spread the work here and share their favourite products. This is also a great way to introduce the team and have some festive fun on social.
