5 Hair Trends We Expect To See In Spring

Finally, Spring is here! With a new season there is bound to be some new requests from your clients for their “new season, new me look”. But, for those clients who are unsure on what to go for, we are here to help you assist with their decision with the trends we expect to see more of this season…

1.) Expensive Blonde

“Expensive Blonde” has been talked about a lot recently and if you haven't heard of it. Where have you been? We don’t expect this to stop making an impact anytime soon. A colour that has been the end transformation look for many celebrities including Jessica Alba and Chrishell Stause, it has also been named as the “Spring Colour Trend We’re Dying To Try” by leading digital hair community platform “Mane Addicts”.

Celebrity hairstylist Tom Smith singled this colour out on his Instagram when discussing his hair predictions for 2022 explaining, “Generally, it’s a warmer shade but I think this is really going to do well in Spring.”

This is a colour that showcases warmer and deeper blonde tones compared to the platinum shades we have previously seen trending. This creates a stunning natural, sun-kissed look, perfect for the warmer months that are coming and for those clients that are wanting to switch to or update their blonde hair.

At Remi Cachet, we boast a variety of colours that can perfectly compliment this gorgeous colour. This includes colours 18/22 and 16/60 that @hairbycharx_used in her clients recent transformation…

2.) Louis Vuitton Brown

For those clients who are not wanting to opt for blonde shades this season but want a lighter and brighter alternative to their brunette, the new “Louis Vuitton brown hair” may just be their answer.

It’s just as fancy as it sounds and is the newest twist from the previously trending “expensive brunette” we saw over the Winter months. Tom Smith also spoke about this trend, this time to Vogue, explaining “Think of the colour of the aged leather of a Louis Vuitton handbag, a gorgeous rich tan, not too pale, but not heavy or dark either. This shade suits a variety of skin tones due to its medium depth and should be worn with healthy flowing hair that shines to best show the shade off.”

Sounds gorgeous and also looks it! Not only is it loved by celebrities including Hailey Bieber and Karlie Kloss, it is a colour we are seeing more and more of on our feed. We just love the transformation from @isabelmeadhair using colours 4 and T2-4/8.

3.) Honey Red

Following Kendall Jenner's hair transformation for Prada’s FW2022 fashion show in Milan, she has kept her stunning red hair. We just love seeing this colour in action here. So, we expect this colour to make an impact this season, following her lead.

We have also started to see this colour appear more across our feed, and adore this look created by @hairextensionsbysalonn using a mixture of colours 30 and 33.

4.) Trendy Tendrils

Back in our December post, Our 2022 Hair Predictions highlighted “Trendy Tendrils” as a look we expected to make an impact this year and this trend shows no sign of going anywhere.

These braided tendrils created by @ashleighmurdochshair are fabulous…

5.) Power Ponytails

Celebrity hairstylist Marc Mena explained to Bustle Magazine that he expects to see more people turning to pieces to add to their hairstyles in Spring, especially ponytails due to clip-in hair extensions rising in popularity.

For those clients that are after just that, we’ve got you covered with our range of Ponytails that are available in a variety of colours. These allow you to create a long, sleek pony, in less than a minute for your client.

Not your client’s thing? Our collection of Clip-Ins are also great to achieve the pony if they don't fancy a clip in a ponytail.

Make sure you check out @jodie_thestrand's video below for some inspiration on how she achieves the stunning look with our clip in extensions…

Our Guides and Highlights are also available to you to save those posts to your Collections so you have plenty of inspiration to hand in your consultations.
